Where's your favorite place to kill time
in-between auditions? |
| |
-
In
nice weather, World Wide Plaza. Outdoors at 49th/50th St in
between 8th and 9th Avenues.
|
-
You can check your e-mail for free at the Times Square Visitors
Center at 46th and 7th—Good if you have an
audition at AEA.
|
- The Marriott Marquee right on Times Square. Take the
elevator to the 8th floor (lobby). It's a great big space
with nice chairs and tables, and clean bathrooms!
|
- I like to go to the gym while I'm waiting. I feel like
I'm getting something productive done and I'm keeping myself
warm for the next audition. I sing my best after a good
workout.

-
Probably Starbucks, it's usually fairly quiet in there. A good
place to sit and read, listen to music, think..
|
-
Performing Arts Library at Lincoln Center, Whole Foods at
Columbus Circle.
|
|
|
-
The drama book shop on 40th between 7th and Bway.
|
-
A
long break? the Movies.
|
-
Sephora, Times Square (brush up your makeup for the next
audition.)

I've noticed that when I'm in the Times Square area with time to
kill, there is a hotel on like 48th and Broadway, I think it's
the Hyatt, where you can just sit and chill out. There's a lobby
area and bathrooms and stuff.
